Hollywood Bridezillas

Hollywood Bridezillas
Hollywood Bridezillas. Bride Wars offers two Bridezillas for the price of one movie ticket. When best friends, played by Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, accidentally schedule their dream weddings on the same day, they drive each other, and their fiancés, crazy trying to have the ultimate wedding. Oh, if only they had learned the lessons from these 10…

10. Toni Collette, Muriel's Wedding
Muriel (Collette) actually goes from potential bridezilla to a pretty well-adjusted girl. But obsessing with weddings and blasting ABBA while she still lives at home is definitely a weird start. It takes an actual marriage to show her what really matters. In real life, Collette married Dave Galafassi.

9. Julie Benz, Dexter
Wow, the previously passive Rita (Benz) gets demonic when it comes to planning the wedding to her serial killer boyfriend, Dexter (Michael C. Hall). Freaking out over invitations, ranting about ring selection and every emotional turn makes Dexter's extracurricular activities seem mild. In real life, Benz was married to John Kassir (voice of the Crypt Keeper), but they are now separated.

8. Alyson Hannigan, How I Met Your Mother
They sure milked several episodes' worth of sitcom fun out of Lily's impending nuptials to Marshall. Who could hold a straight face during the montage of freak outs over minor planning decisions, or the booze-addled rage in the hotel suite? In real life, Hannigan married her Buffy and Angel costar, Alexis Denisof.

7. Kimberly Williams, Father of the Bride
This is more Fatherzilla of the Bride than anything else, but there is a moment when Annie Banks (Williams) is given a blender as a wedding gift from her husband-to-be. Little does he know he is unleashing the feminist fury buried within her traditional exterior. Luckily, Daddy is there to smooth things over and the wedding survives this hiccup. Still, that wedding is costing George Banks (Steve Martin) a fortune, really. In real life, Williams is married to country singer Brad Paisley.

6. Jennifer Lopez, Monster-in-Law
Perhaps all of the antics in this movie are just a defense mechanism. With Jane Fonda’s monster-in-law scheming against her, Charlie (Lopez) goes to extremes to stand her ground. It is a knock-down, drag-out battle, but the two women both learn something in the end. In real life, Lopez married Marc Anthony, her third husband.

5. Rosemarie DeWitt, Rachel Getting Married
Rachel (DeWitt) really doesn't have time for her sibling's (Anne Hathaway) drama over killing their little brother. This is her special day, dammit! From assigning maid of honor duties to discussing the helium tanks for balloons, this is gritty, real-life bridezilla, shot documentary style. In real life, DeWitt is not yet married.

4. Cameron Diaz, Very Bad Things
Ladies, see what happens if you ride your fiancés too hard. With demands about the seat cushions, invitations and all the minor stuff, the pressure is so high that the wedding party ends up dead or dismembered at the conclusion. In real life, Diaz is not yet married.

3. Julia Roberts, Runaway Bride
Everything is perfectly delightful -- until the actual wedding ceremony. Then, in a loving homage to Ms. Roberts' real life track record, the title character bolts at the altar. In real life, Roberts married cameraman Danny Moder, her second marriage but fifth engagement.

2. Helena Bonham Carter, Corpse Bride
Ah, a bridezilla for the kids. If you think about it, the corpse bride is harder core than any of the previous eight. In order to be her groom, she wants a dude to commit to eternity in the afterlife. Bring back Muriel! In real life, Carter lives with her director, Tim Burton.

1. Uma Thurman, Kill Bill
See what happens when you cross a bride at her wedding? A bullet in the head couldn't stop her from coming back and getting her kung-fu revenge on her ex-lover and all of his assassin crew who just wouldn't let her have her one special day. In real life, Thurman is divorced from actor Ethan Hawke.
