Jesse James I Admitted The Affair
How Jesse James Told Sandra Bullock About His Infidelity
No one was shocked by Jesse James' infidelities more than Sandra Bullock, and he details every painful moment of telling her about it in his new book, American Outlaw."I admitted the affair. I told her the hard details. I let her know that I had never loved this woman, that I had never cared for her at all," James wrote.
"The feeling of shame and sadness that washed over me as Sandy began to cry was almost beyond measure...I didn't touch her. I sat frozen in my chair, watching, as Sandy's small body shook with sobs."
James, 42, says he got a call from Bullock's publicist warning him that a woman had come forward claiming an affair with him and that her story was going to be released in a tabloid magazine -- prompting the West Coast Choppers star to come clean with his then-wife, Bullock.
"Sandy rose to her feet. She unfolded her sunglasses and put them on her face," James said after he'd told her about his cheating while the two sat in his office.
"She walked steadily and purposefully to the front of the shop, opened the heavy, metal door. For a moment, the sunlight enveloped her. The door closed behind her, and she was gone."
James says he also came clean to his two oldest children, Chandler and Jesse Jr., telling them he'd been unfaithful, but had a hard time when his youngest daughter, Sunny, asked where Bullock was. James blames Bullock
"I chew my lip as I consider my answer. Well, sweetie, the truth is, I have no idea. Daddy f**ked up, real, real bad, so your stepmommy decided to disappear for a few weeks," James wrote.
