Nick Cannon Stable Condition

Mariah Carey hopes that husband Nick Cannon will be released from hospital this weekend.

Nick fell ill with minor kidney failure over the Christmas holidays.

Earlier this week he was hospitalised in Aspen, Colorado, where the couple were vacationing.

Nick has since been transferred to a Los Angeles based medical facility and doctors are happy with Nick’s recovery.


"Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days," Mariah posted on Twitter Friday. "As always he's laughing and in good spirits. (sic)"

Mariah appreciates the support she is receiving from friends, family and fans throughout this crisis.

"Thank you everyone for all the love & concern," Mariah tweeted.

Nick also took to Twitter to update followers on his condition.

"Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. (sic)” he tweeted.

The surgical procedure that Nick underwent is unknown, as the star did not divulge those details.

Nick and Mariah have two children together. The singer gave birth to fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan in April last year.
