Luke Ryan And National Anthem - Tuesday night as Luke Bryan performed the national anthem at the MLB All-Star Game people started attacking him online saying he was looking down at his hands and must have the words written down. As more people began tweeting about Luke not having the anthem memorized for his performance, Luke took to Twitter to explain what happened.
Luke admits he wrote a few key words to the anthem on his hand so he wouldn't flub the lyrics. He says, "I just wanted to do my best. I promise it was from the heart."
Luke also explained that he looked at his watch during the performance because he knew the stealth bomber would fly over the park at two minutes into his performance.
Luke has gone on to apologize to anyone who was offend by his anthem performance. He closes saying, "Being a part of the all star game was amazing and I look forward to the next time I can perform the anthem."
People don't have anything better to do??? Seriously???
