To the amusement of shoppers at this grocery store, a bear cub wandered the aisles before hopping up on the fruit and vegetable display to inspect the goods.
Police were called as the cub clambered back and forth along the rows of produce at Tatsuda's IGA supermarket in Ketchikan, Alaska on Saturday.

Officers tried to coax the cub down before a burly male customer finally stepped in, grabbed the baby bear and carried it outside to be released.
Employees said that the cub strolled into the store through the automatic doors.
Shoppers who captured the cub's antics on their cell phones said it appeared to be on the small side for the time of year and appeared hungry. No mother bear has been sighted in the area.
The local radio station KRBD also reported that the store threw away all the vegetables in the produce case after the bear's expedition.
When they are first born, bear cubs feed mainly on green vegetation before shifting to salmon if they are available.
