Nick Jonas Deadbeat Bad, Nick Jonas to play deadbeat dad on 'Last Man Standing' Scandalous! Nick Jonas has snagged a new ABC gig, and it's nothing like the character we're used to seeing him play on the Disney Channel (or, for that matter, in the media). The youngest Jonas Brother is playing... wait for it... a dad.
If that makes you feel ancient, don't worry -- we didn't say he's playing a guy who is old enough to be a dad. Nick has landed the role of Ryan, the deadbeat teen father of Tim Allen's grandchild on "Last Man Standing." The news was first reported by TVLine.
