Marc Anthony J.Lo fight, Marc Anthony Wants to Quit TV Project After Fight With Jennifer Lopez
We knew it was too amicable to be true.Marc Anthony has allegedly threatened to quit his reality TV endeavor with estranged wife Jennifer Lopez. And yes, it has everything to do with her new boyfriend, Casper Smart, according to Star magazine.
The 43 year-old singer refused to travel to Peru or Chile to host and executive produce the auditions on his show, Q'Viva: The Chosen. The decision came after a huge fight with his soon-to-be ex wife, Jennifer Lopez.
According to a source:
"Marc and J.Lo had a tense conference call when she was in Morocco. Inevitably, their discussion boiled down to her new boyfriend (Smart) and Marc made the decision not to work with Jennifer last week as a result."
Let's hope these guys can work it out, because we don't have quite enough reality TV shows out there. Okay, we do. But I want more. This TV addiction isn't going to feed itself.
Anthony waited until Lopez's private jet took off from Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. The plane was headed to Peru, and that's when Anthony called Americna Idol creator, Simon Fuller, to tell him that he was considering quitting the show completely.
Over the past week, Lopez has been photographed in Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile, filming the show—sans Anthony.
An insider told Star that when Marc talked to Simon, he said the reason he refused to travel to the Latin American countries was "quite simply, J.Lo. I can't work with her."
The fight could've been about the fact that J.Lo has already introduced Smart to her two children with Anthony. They were all photographed playing together in Hawaii over the Thanksgiving holiday.
But one person close to Anthony said: "It's his Latin pride. It's been severely dented."
The source added: "Discussions are now underway to resurrect his involvement in the show. Millions of dollars are on the line and producers are desperate to soothe the tension between their two stars."
Anthony and Lopez called it quits back in July after seven years of marriage. After the announcement, J.Lo said:
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first." She added, " You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”
