Rosie O'Donnell: My Fiancee Michelle Rounds Is a Barbie

She's a Barbie girl, living in Rosie's world!

Set to wed New York City headhunter Michelle Rounds, Rosie O'Donnell can't help but gush about how lucky she is to have snagged Rounds as her bride-to-be.


"She's like Ann-Margaret," O'Donnell, 49, told reporters at Tuesday's National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York City. "I constantly go, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' "

"I'm not a Barbie. She has Mattel stamped on her ass," O'Donnell continued of Rounds. "She's literally perfection."

Confirming her engagement in early December during a commercial break on her eponymous OWN talk show, O'Donnell later told Us Weekly she's known for a while Rounds was The One. "I knew about a week after we met!" she said of Rounds, whom she met in a Starbucks, and debuted as her date at a September event in NYC.

What makes Rounds a keeper? "She's so unbelievably connected and refined," the comic said Tuesday. "I so love her embracing her femininity in a real feminist manner. To be able to be a lesbian, feminine, feminist is pretty sexy."

Intending to tie the knot this spring, O'Donnell tells Us wedding planning is coming along well, but admits she's having a hard time getting used to the formalities. "It's kind of weird, like we met with some swanky-ass people," O'Donnell said.

The comic confirms her four children with ex Kelli Carpenter will take part in her upcoming nuptials.

"They want to be in it," she said, referring to Parker, Blake, Chelsea and Vivi. "They want to be in tuxedos and dresses and do the whole thing. They're really excited!"
