It was once a home of marital bliss.
But Russell Brand isn't nostalgic about the property he once shared with his former wife Katy Perry.
In fact the 36-year-old comedian has quite happily surrendered the sprawling $6.5 million mansion the couple purchased together to the 27-year-old pop star, according to TMZ.
The move comes as Katy has travelled to India, where the couple both got engaged and subsequently married in October 2010.
The former couple tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony near the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in Rajasthan, India, the same location where Russell proposed in 2009.
Katy slipped into a sparkly Ethnic-style printed dress and some black platforms for the occasion.
She coiffed her blue hair in a blow-wave style and wore a traditional bindi on her forehead.
Meanwhile Russell was recently quizzed about life after Katy, and he offered a philosophical outlook which once upon a time would have been the subject of ridicule in one of his stand-up sketches.
The Get Him To The Greek star revealed to People: 'I'm doing well... You don't need to brush it off if you don’t get it on you in the first place.'
It seemed Russell was attempting to explain that he's no longer upset over his doomed marriage to Katy, so there are no demons to exorcise.
He implied he now feels indifference, adding: 'I don't have to let anything go. I don't hold on to anything negative. It's the same as zero-ness.
'It's not about letting it go. You can't let go of something you don't hold, you know. It's meaningless... And I don't do that anymore.'
The former Big Brother's Big Mouth host and the Firework singer split from one another last December, after just 14 months of marital 'bliss'.

Or it could be thanks to the new lady in his life.
Russell is now dating Hungarian model Nikolett Barabas.
And as he seems smitten, even introducing her to his mother and inviting her to New Orleans while he shoots his latest film, she is equally besotted.
Nikolett gushed to Life & Style: 'He’s amazing, so funny; he’s beautiful. I like being with him; he’s amazing, so amazing. He’s a good person.'
It seems Russell finally has his mojo back, indulging fans with a little insight into his upcoming late-night show, due on FX later this year.
He said: 'We'll talk about current affairs and analyse and deconstruct the media of the day and approach news from a humanitarian and spiritual angle, whilst keeping it simultaneously and continuously humorous.'
Meanwhile Katy and French model Baptiste Giabiconi fueled rumours that the pair were an item after he tweeted a photo of them cosied up with one another.
Looking like the perfect match, the blue-haired singer was seen resting her head against Giabiconi's as they gaze into the camera.
The 22-year-old, who is the world's highest-paid model, posted the personal snap with the caption: 'hey my #littlekats u look So amazing in this pics !'
The French hunk is said to be 'smitten' with the Teenage Dream star after first being romantically linked at Paris Fashion Week last month.
The pair were seen sitting together in the front row at the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2012 show.
However Katy has since indicated that she is in fact single.
After the intimate snap of Katy and Baptiste was posted, she wrote on Twitter: 'Just ate a ton of garlic, heard it's an immune booster #hopeitwerks #mandeflecter #singleandsatisfied'
