The winning numbers from last night's drawing were 7, 10, 14, 33, 57 and Powerball 18.
The winning Powerball customer bought their ticket at a Hy-Vee grocery store at 5050 Edgewood Road in Cedar Rapids, making them Iowa's biggest lottery winner ever.
Iowa Lottery officials contacted the store to alert its staff of selling the sole winning Powerball ticket, Jason Busswitz, the store's manager, told the DesMoines Register.
"This is exciting at the store level, but we really don't know who the winner is. It could be one of us. We just don't know. I know it's not me, though," Busswitz said.
If you happen to be holding the winning Powerball ticket in your hands right now, forget about calling everyone you know and first call 515-725-7900 and let the Iowa Lottery know you're the luckiest person in America and demand your money nicely. Then call friends and family and let them know you're retiring.
Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich isn't sure when the winner -- or winners -- will come forward.
"We encourage our jackpot winners to consult a financial or legal adviser before claiming a prize of this size," Rich said. "This truly is a life-changing amount of money and we want our winners to have the information they'll need as they make their decisions. Whoever has the winning ticket should sign it immediately if they haven't already done so for safe keeping."
