But when a specialist finally told him the membrane around his brain had a small hole in it and he was leaking brain fluid, he was understandably "scared to death." Fortunately, surgery fixed the problem. Nagy's doctor, Barrow Neurological Institute neurosurgeon Peter Nakaji, says leaky brains are "one of the more common conditions to be missed for a long time."
