Terrell Davis Coach At Rancho Christian, Kenric Jameison is the first football coach at Temecula Rancho Christian High which will have an 11-man program in 2011, Jameison said.

Jameison formerly assisted Tommy Leach at Temecula Chaparral.

Former NFL players Terrell Davis and Leonard Russell will be on Jameison's staff, he said. So will former track and field world record holder Tyree Washington.


"I think we'll have a coaching staff to rival anyone in the nation and we're eager and excited to get going," Jameison said. "We want to build a great football program that will be a formidable foe."

Rancho Christian has only 35 students, but Jameison said the school is intent upon increasing enrollment and eventually wants to have 80 players in its football program.

Jameison, also the assistant athletic director (to Kelly Gill), envisions a sports program that also includes volleyball, cross country, boys and girls basketball, baseball and softball, as well as football.

The Eagles will compete as an independent in 2011, Jameison said.
