Theme Park Discounts Women Miniskirts - A combination theme park, resort and golf club in southern China has sparked controversy with its offer of discounted admission to women wearing miniskirts, reports Shanghai Daily.
The Guilin Merryland Resort in Guangxi has promised half-price entry to women whose skirts measure 38 cm or less, according to Shanghaiist. Women with rulers ensured proper skirt length, and, no, shorts and dresses don't count.
"The stipulation aims to encourage female visitors to showcase their beauty in summer," Li Wenxing, deputy manager of the park, told Shanghai Daily.
Coincidentally (or not) a water-splashing festival is taking place at the park during the mini-skirt campaign.

This isn't the first time a Chinese event attracted women with unique discounts. Last year, virgins were offered free entry into the Zhouluo Wild Osmanthus Fragrans Festival.
