Bar Bans High-Tech Glasses, What will it be: Google glasses or a glass of beer? Because one Seattle dive bar has already decided it's one or the other.
The Emerald City's 5 Point Café has banned all patrons in advance from using the high-tech Google Glass eyewear, which can capture pictures and video more easily and more stealthily than ever before.
The bar is a "seedy, maybe notorious, place and I think people want to go there and not be known," owner Dave Meinert told a local radio station. It's clearly a rough and tumble spot: A Facebook post explaining the policy states that “ass kickings will be encouraged for violators."
