The embattled actress hopped on a private plane from New York to Los Angeles early Monday morning, E! News has confirmed, in a rush to make her scheduled trial over charges that she violated her probation stemming from her car crash last June.
The flight comes in the wake of reports of an 11th-hour scramble after Lohan hopped off an earlier flight moments before takeoff.
A source exclusively tells E! News that the 26-year-old star was eventually able to finagle a flight aboard a private jet in order to try and make her court date.
She is supposedly expected to arrive in Los Angeles about an hour before her court hearing, which is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. PT, because the plane will need to make one stop along the way to refuel.
According to our source, Lohan was originally set to fly from JFK Airport to Los Angeles International Airport Sunday evening, but she supposedly felt anxious because she was traveling alone—something she reportedly isn't prone to doing—and she subsequently got off the plane.
We're told that two of Lohan's friends are with her on the private jet and that her mother, Dina Lohan, isn't accompanying LiLo on this trip.
Earlier this month, a judge denied a motion by Lohan's attorney, Mark Heller, to put the case on the "slow track" as well as to dismiss charges stemming from the June car crash, during which Lohan is accused of lying to cops that she wasn't behind the wheel.
Lohan, however, was MIA from that court hearing, and she was reportedly spotted clubbing at a Manhattan hot spot the previous evening.
