Trash worker crushed, Police say 18 year old Louis Camarillo was crushed and killed by a garbage truck while loading it with recycling.
We’re told that Camarillo who lives in the Bronx was working at the time of the accident.
The teen was loading the truck with paper from this recycling plant when the compactor came down on top of him crushing his chest.
Camarillo was rushed to Long Island College Hospital where he died.
Police say the garbage truck that crushed the 18-year-old is privately owned, although it’s not clear right now who owns the truck.
This afternoon police and OSHA officials were out here investigating the scene although right now no criminality is suspected.
