The building was designed by German architect Hans-Jurgen Schult (Hans-Jürgen Schult). For his creation, he used cans of Coca-Cola, plastic cups, pack of cigarettes and other debris. Total for the construction of the hotel took 12 tons of waste, which for months was collected on European beaches. 5 rooms in the hotel, the decoration of which also consists of what has been found on the street.As a result of competition for the project page «Save the Beach» in the social network Facebook, the organizers have selected a few winners, who were given the opportunity to become a free guests of the new hotel. After spending the night in a garbage room they are invited to share their impressions.
According to the author of the project, the hotel Beach Garbage Hotel - a model of the world where people come just for a while, and do not care about what will come after them.
