on Tuesday, January 25, 2011
In Madrid for a few days opened hotel called Beach Garbage Hotel, built entirely of waste from landfills and beaches in Europe, the project Save the Beach («save the beach"), organized by the Mexican brewing brand Corona.
The building was designed by German architect Hans-Jurgen Schult (Hans-Jürgen Schult). For his creation, he used cans of Coca-Cola, plastic cups, pack of cigarettes and other debris. Total for the construction of the hotel took 12 tons of waste, which for months was collected on European beaches. 5 rooms in the hotel, the decoration of which also consists of what has been found on the street.
