'Botox mom' claims story was a hoax.
She's become one of the most hated mother's in the world, the "Botox Mom". Kerry Campbell first appeared in the British tabloid, "The Sun" where she claimed she injected her 8-year-old pageant daughter with Botox and gave her "virgin" waxes. She claimed that she was licensed to give the injections herself.

Campbell then appeared on "Good Morning America" and "Inside Edition". Since then her daughter, Britney, was removed by CPS in San Francisco. After taking her to doctors to get looked at the girl has been returned to her mom, with the provision that a cousin would stay with her and the child for the time being.

Now the Botox Mom is saying it was all a hoax for cash!

Campbell, who claims her real name is Sheena Upton, told a California court that "The Sun" gave her $200 to pose as "Kerry Campbell" and read a script for the story "I Give My 8-Year-Old Daughter Botox". She says she appeared on the other shows for an additional fee from a talent broker.
"The truth is that I have never given my daughter Botox, nor allowed her to get any type of waxing, nor is she a beauty pageant contestant," she wrote.

To further prove her case, Upton said her daughter was examined by a doctor at UCLA to show that she'd never been injected with anything.

"The Sun" immediately denied they had any idea she was telling them a tall tale.

"The Sun strongly denies any suggestion it solicited or knowingly published a false story regarding Kerry Campbell and her daughter. The article was published in good faith, in common with a large number of other news organizations around the world, after being received in full from a reputable UK news agency," the paper said in a statement.

ABC also issued a statement saying that they had no idea she was making it all up. But according to TMZ an insider said Upton was paid up to $10,000 from GMA and $9,500 from "The Insider", for the licensing of the photos of her daughter.

"We have just seen the sworn declaration on TMZ written by Sheena Upton, a.k.a. Kerry Campbell, and are vigorously investigating her most recent statement and rapidly shifting story," an ABC spokesperson told the website.

As the media scrambles to deal with the Botox Bombshell, Upton says she wishes she could take it all back.

"I realize now that, at the time I made a bad decision to accept the role in the story for The Sun, and I regret my participation," Upton wrote in the deposition. "The implications have been severe for my family as well as my daughter and myself."

Should she still lose custody?
