Bridge school benefit 2011, AFTER some last-minute shuffling, Neil Young's Bridge School benefit still winds up with maybe its best lineup ever to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Various emergencies have forced Diana Krall and Jenny Lewis off the bill, but taking their place will be Devendra Banhart and Norah Jones—which is, let's face it, even better. Other headliners both days include Young performing solo (after joining his former Buffalo Springfield bandmates last year), Dave Matthews, Arcade Fire, Eddie Vedder, Los Invisibles (with Carlos Santana, Cindy Blackman Santana and guests), Beck and Mumford & Sons. Foo Fighters and Tony Bennett perform Sunday only, and Jimmy Fallon has been added as host on Saturday.
Shoreline Amphitheatre
Saturday, 5pm, Sunday 2pm
