“Their relationship reached its peak,” a source close to Conrad told Life & Style.
Despite the reality stars often being spotted together over the past couple of months and appearing “flirty” at L.A.’s Sayers Club in late September, the relationship was always casual.
“She had fun with Derek--he used to send her cute texts and sing to her--but she always kept her options open,” another source said.
The 25-year-old former star of The Hills moved on to Hough, 26, after her split from her three year relationship with My Boys actor Kyle Howard, 33, in June.
Conrad recently ran into Howard at a Halloween party at West Hollywood’s Voyeuer on October 29. That same night, Hough was spotted with Celebrity Rehab star Jennifer Gimenez at the Standard in Hollywood. WetPaint Entertainment reports the two arrived together at a private Halloween party and later were seen dancing at a hotel, looking a lot more than just friends.
