Kim Kardashian Gets 'Vampire Facial' [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Kim Kardashian Gets 'Vampire Facial' [PHOTOS & VIDEO] - Kim Kardashian gets a BLOOD facial on Sunday's episode of her reality show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

The star was seen trying out the latest beauty technique. 'I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful,' she said.

A large needle drew blood from her arm before the sample was spun in a machine to remove the platelets.

The blood was then splattered into Kim's face using nine tiny little acupuncture-style needles. But first she had to slap on some numbing cream in a bid to ease the pain.

The results left her looking like she had been in the classic horror flick - or a car crash, with blood spots all over face. 'It stings a little,' the medic who administered the treatment warned.

Best pal Jonathan Cheban looked like he was about to pass out as he watched Kim get the procedure - which he had originally told her about. 'Owww,' she wailed. 'Oh my God. I will never get a facelift if it feels like that.' But as she recovered with ice packs on her face, Kim insisted: 'We're all good.'

The treatment is so-called because it uses the patient's own blood to make improvements to the skin. The plasma from the blood is then extracted and used in the non-invasive procedure, with the aim of rejuvenating the skin.

The technique is an updated version of the traditional 'vampire facelift', which involves a series of painful injections into the face.

The show also saw the 32-year-old star turn private detective as she helped track down a missing teenage girl. It came after she went for a 'ride-along' with North Miami cops after telling how she wanted to solve crimes. 'I'm like fascinated. I have this sick, twisted fantasy about investigating stuff,' she said. 'If I wasn't doing what I'm doing now I would totally be a crime scene investigator.'

Her wish came true when she went out at night with the North Miami PD. 'It's a little scary because you never know what calls are going to come in, but it's really exciting,' she said. And she got straight into the swing of things by asking to be handcuffed. 'I just want to see what it feels like,' she said.

One of the female officers obliged and explained how some of those she arrests manage to move the handcuffs from behind their backs to above their crotch. 'I can't get it over my butt!' said Kim as she tried to do it.

It was straight into action after the pair received an emergency call, with reports that shots had been fired.

'It's so exciting and such a rush,' Kim said afterwards.

She went to the scene where cops had managed to arrest the suspects.

And she looked stunned to see people lying on the ground in cuffs appearing to wail in pain.

'I'm looking around and my heart is pounding. I've never seen anything like this in my life.'

It later transpired the man was having a bad trip, after smoking weed laced with another chemical.

'It's still really scary,' said Kim. 'That was so exciting, it made me hungry.'

She then got her police driver to a drive-through in the police car so she could get fast food.

Kim later tried out another approach to law enforcement - when she met up with private investigator Jake Schmidt and his team, who invited her to work on a case.

'I guess you should break out your black leather trench coat,' he tells Kim.

'I get to do some real detective work and help a family at the same time,' she explains after he reveals he is working on a missing child investigation.

'Jake definitely has the PI look,' she says, commenting on his shades and leather jacket.

Kim explained her interest in crime work came from her late father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, who famously defended O.J. Simpson in his 1995 murder trial.

'I can really investigate a boyfriend,' she boasted.

Jake then let Kim play with some of his PI tool kit, including a periscope for looking over walls and a video camera that secretly shot the action behind him, and a pair of shades that also let you see behind you and a cigarette lighter with a built-in knife.

He then explains they will be working on missing 15-year-old, Fara.

Jake plans to go and see the girl's father in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to get some background information.

'I can't believe that Jake is actually letting me help,' she said.

Kim thinks that the key to solving the case is finding the teenager's missing boyfriend - but none of Fara's family can remember his name.

And it hits home when Kim imagines her own sister Kylie, who is roughly the same age, doing the same thing. Later Kim hit the Internet to search for clues - and finds her boyfriend's Facebook page.

The man has a record and is 29-years-old - and is pimping out girls.

'This just makes me sick to the stomach. I have little sisters her age,' Kim said.

And the man is said to have warned Fara he'll kill her if he tries to leave.

The duo then hit 'the projects' in Fort Lauderdale at night to stake out possible suspects, where Jake's associates have managed track down the alleged pimp.

'I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. But I don't want to give up on this little girl,' Kim said.

Kim tries to persuade them to go in and grab the girl - but the investigators tell her they have to get the police involved instead.

'If we start grabbing kids, someone might start shooting,' Jake tells her.

'It's so frustrating that we can't go in there but we have to go by the police protocol because it's just too dangerous,' Kim said.

They leave, and Kim later calls Fara's dad, Freddie to update him on the case.

'It breaks my heart,' Kim said.

Fara has still not been found, a note at the end of the show revealed.
