Infamous serial killers, To acknowledge the 35th anniversary of David Berkowitz pleading guilty to the "Son of Sam" killings, we've compiled a list of some of the world’s most infamous serial killer cases.  

The Bayou Strangler
Ronald Dominique was arrested in 2006 for the rape and murder of a number of men throughout the previous 10 years. The Bayou Strangler, as he became known, promised the men drugs or sex to lure them, only to suffocate or strangle them later. He lured many of his victims with the promise of vodka, only to kill them a short time later. Pichushkin was finally arrested in the summer of 2006 after years of killing. The Railroad Killer
Angel Maturino Reséndiz was an illegal immigrant who killed about 15 people in the U.S. starting in the late 1980s and continuing through the 1990s. After his capture, Reséndiz also confessed to a number of murders in his homeland. He was known as "The Railroad Killer" because many of the murders took place close to rail tracks.
