'Dancing With the Stars' finale tonight
'Dancing With the Stars' finale tonight. Dancing With the Stars: Finale Feedback from the Remaining Couples! After a whirlwind of freestyle and sambas and lifts and whatnot, the remaining Dancing With the Stars contestants stepped off the dance floor, exhausted and exhilarated at the same time.
Or at least that's the vibe we got while talking to them after the show. Chelsea Kane, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward spilled on their night full o' dances, and how they feel being so close to that mirror-ball trophy. Plus, who wants to hang up their costume after it's all over?
Chelsea and partner Mark Ballas are confident that regardless of the outcome tomorrow, they are satisfied with their performance tonight, and throughout the whole season. "We couldn't have done any better, I feel. At least we get to go out knowing we left everything out on the table," Chelsea tells us. "Whatever happens, happens. We saw it all the way through to the end. We put up a good fight."
Although, since tomorrow is Mark's birthday, winning the trophy for the third time would be a sweet little cherry on top. "It would be amazing to win on [my] birthday, but I feel like we've won already," he says. "Chelsea's killed it every week. It couldn't have gone any better tonight. The best early birthday present was getting Chelsea as my partner."
How cute are those two? And hey, if they happen to lose, Chelsea has a backup prize for herself all worked out. "You know how they hang jerseys? I want them to hang my fringe pants and no one can wear them anymore," she says with a laugh. "I'm going to shadowbox all my fringe pants and hang them somewhere in this ballroom."
